For me, it's always business-first while finding the synergy between it and the people. I built Primary People Group because I believe HR should be judged the same way any other function is: by whether it's actually moving the business forward. Honestly, I've always been more drawn to the business side of companies than the HR side of it; P&L, growth, strategy, the mechanics of how a company actually works. I think that's exactly why I ended up good at HR: I approach it as, what does this business need to win, and how does the people side get it there. After 15+ years working across many industries, I've learned that no two businesses solve growth the same way… and HR shouldn't either. I'm not interested in handing you a generic policy or a compliance checklist. I want to understand where your business is headed, then build the people strategy that gets you there; always practical, data-backed, and grounded in what actually works for your team.
I also believe HR should be accessible, not just something reserved for the executive table. That's why I co-founded Demi, an AI-powered tool that helps managers navigate people management in real time because good support shouldn't have to wait for HR to be in the room.
On the personal side, my husband Matt and I have three kids and a fur baby, and we love keeping busy and living an active lifestyle.

After nearly 18 years in the dental industry, I transitioned into HR in 2021 and found my passion in helping organizations navigate the people side of business and build stronger workplaces. Whether supporting a difficult conversation, leading through change, or celebrating milestones, my approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client's unique needs. Every organization has its own story, culture, and goals, and I believe the best solutions are built together. I strive to be a trusted partner, someone our clients know they can count on and who is just as invested in their success as they are.
Outside of work, I'm a wife and proud mom of three. We call a small beach community along Lake Huron home, and in the winter you'll often find us skiing in Collingwood. Between hockey rinks, basketball courts, and family adventures, staying active and making memories is what fills my cup.

With experience across manufacturing, tech, logistics, hospitality, and engineering, I've seen firsthand how different industries handle growth and change. My favourite part of being a consultant is getting to dive into those unique environments and support teams as they navigate their business journey. I'm not the person to just hand over a policy, but help bring understanding to the impact and the why behind it.

My favourite part of the work is in the details. I dive into every piece of a program to make sure nothing is missed. Whether it's systems, benefits, or onboarding, I'm not just handing over a process; I'm staying by your side to help you embed it. People notice when things are done with care, and that's the experience I want every team I support to have.
