With a new year, there is always new opportunity. So I thought I would try something new here.

Primary People Group was established almost three years ago to help growing businesses develop and accomplish strategic plans and objectives.

But not only that…I also started PPG to help develop the individual talents of my clients so they may reach new successes and thrive in today’s professional climate. I particularly love this part of my business because I’ve grown and learned a thing or two along my own journey.

I’m going to share a little bit of what I learned and what I’ve experienced both personally and professionally in hopes that it sparks a bit of inspiration for you. Because I believe inspired people can accomplish great things.

Look out for more of my tips but here are three to start:

1️⃣ Remember that opportunity is always there. Although the beginning of a new year often signifies a time of renewed optimism, motivation and energy, remember that you can jump into action whenever it feels right to you. Today, tomorrow, or next month is as good a time as any, so long as it is right for you.

2️⃣ Adam Grant posted that “changing your mind is not a sign of losing integrity. It’s often a mark of gaining wisdom”. He also said, “wisdom doesn’t come from experience. It comes from reflecting on experience.” Take these two thoughts in together. Stop and reflect on why you decided to change your mind in the first place. You’ll gain more from it.

3️⃣ Intentionally set time aside to work on you. Want to learn how to play guitar? Book a first lesson. Want to enhance your leadership skills? Start your journey by finding out what kind of leader you are and where you can skill up. If you don’t know where to start with the latter, connect with me to begin that journey together.
